LFT is a nationwide service that allows foreign tourists visiting Japan to enjoy their travel and sightseeing more comfortably without carrying heavy luggage. Their luggage can be sent to major accommodations and airports after easy online procedures.

What is LFT?

English, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Korean, Thai, Spanish, Italian, French, and Japanese are available.

LFT luggage can be sent from major airports, accommodations, stations, TIC, etc. within Japan.

LFT luggage can be picked up at accommodations and major airports in Japan.

LFT is a multilingual online service that uses ICT to help foreign tourists visiting Japan enjoy empty-handed sightseeing.

Courier is a delivery service that has been established mainly for residents in Japan. It requires a handwritten invoice and cash payment when used by foreign visitors.

Basically, it is possible to receive it from the next day at shortest. In case of receiving it at the airport or long-distance delivery, you can receive it from two days after the next day.

You can make a reservation up to 70 days in advance.

Please make your reservation at least 30 minutes before the deadline for the facility that will ship the luggage.

Please bring your luggage and the QR code with the LFT reservation number to the counter of the agency base by the deadline time.

Please show the QR code to the facility staff and make an arrangement, and receive a "customer copy" from the staff.

When you receive your luggage, please show the "LFT customer copy" to the facility staff. There is no need to be present, as the facility staff will confirm the arrival of the luggage from the deliverer.

It is available at airports, station counters, and some hotels (Shinjuku area).

If the pick up deadline has passed, the delivery date of the package will be changed.

You can change the number and size of your luggage when you receive your luggage. To change the date of use, arrival date, destination / facility of sender, cancel the reservation once and make a new one.

There is no cancellation fee.

A basic fee is set for each of two types, small size and large size. Small size is from 2,000 yen and large size is from 2,500 yen.

This is the fee to be paid to the operator of the airport facilities.

Required when sending and receiving luggage from the airport.

There are no charges for creating an account and booking.When the luggage is collected, the fee will be deducted from the registered credit card.

There is no cancellation fee.

If the fee changes, the changed amount will be deducted from the credit card registered at the time of booking.

Dangerous goods that cannot be loaded on airplanes, valuables such as cash and passports, pets, etc. cannot be delivered.

Luggage is limited as follows: Total length, width and height = 160cm and weight = 25kg or less.

Luggage such as backpacks and boston bags and cardboard can also be sent.
However, luggage which is open and unpacked items cannot be handled.

Skis, snowboards and golf bags are not currently available at LFT.

The delivery of the package is based on the Yamato Transport's Takkyubin Terms and Conditions.

According to the courier service of Yamato Transport Co., Ltd., which arranges the delivery service, the limit of liability is 300,000 yen for each package.

Due to the weather (typhoon, heavy rain, heavy snow), natural disasters, traffic conditions, etc., delivery delays may occur after luggage is accepted.

A notification e-mail will be sent to the email registered at the time of user information registration when accepting arangement and delivery.
You can also contact the LUGGAGE-FREE-TRAVEL support center by phone. (Phone number is included in the customer's copy)
